Vivo Y91 3GB RAM variant launched in India at Rs 8,990

Vivo has launched a new variant of Vivo Y91 smartphone in India. Previously the smartphone was launched with 2GB RAM, now company has launched the 3GB variant of Vivo Y91 at a price tag of Rs 8990. Surprisingly, the 2GB variant is also retailing at the same price of Rs 8990 after subsequent price cuts. The smartphone is available for purchase through Croma stores.

The other specifications of the phone are same as previous variant. The Vivo Y91 comes with a 6.22-inch HD+ Halo FullView (720×1520 pixels) display and is powered by a MediaTek Helio P22 processor coupled with 32GB internal storage. The phone comes with an option to expand the storage upto 256GB via microSD card and features a fingerprint sensor as well. The phone also has a face unlock feature as security option.


On the camera front, it has a dual rear camera setup having 13-megapixel sensor with f/2.2 aperture and a 2-megapixel sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The rear camera of the phone supports Face Beauty, Time-Lapse, HDR, and Portrait Mode among other features. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The smartphone runs on Funtouch OS 4.5 based on Android 8.1 Oreo and gets its juices from a 4030mAh battery. Connectivity options include a Dual Sim, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 5, GPS + GLONASS, FM Radio, and a micro USB port.

Just to refresh, the 2GB variant of Vivo Y91 was launched at the price tag of of Rs 10,990 and after the price cuts over a period of time, it is now retailing at Rs 8990. If any customers is looking to buy Vivo Y91 now they will get the 3GB RAM variant at the same price point.
